A Harrison County court filingidentifies a 53-year-old man as the person killed by blunt force trauma Sunday in a home west of Missouri Valley, Iowa.
Douglas Manley was found dead inside his home at 1505 305th St., in rural Harrison County, according to an affidavit special agent Lynn Olson of the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation filed. Sebastin O'Brien, 22, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder in connection with Manley's death.
According to the affidavit, O'Brien told investigators that he "punched, kicked, and struck (Manley) with dresser drawers" when the two got into a disagreement while moving furniture. O'Brien said he had been living with Manley in a camper near the DeSoto Bend National Wildlife Refuge.
O'Brien is alleged to have crashed a pickup truck south of Modale, Iowa, about 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. O'Brien called another man for a ride and was driven to Modale, where the two got into a physical fight that was reported to the Harrison County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said O'Brien was intoxicated and combative when they interviewed him. He allegedly told them that he had assaulted Manley, the registered owner of the pickup he had crashed.
At Manley's home, deputies found blood "smeared on the window of the front door window." They observed more blood inside the home and found Manley deceased at the top of the stairs to the upper floor.
Manley had severe blunt force facial and head injuries. His body was transported to the Iowa State Medical Examiner in Ankeny for an autopsy.
